Striking Mayan Motif Necklace, probably Taxco Mexico, 1950s
This is a wonderful necklace comprising very detailed Mayan warrior figures mounted with Malachite stones and links also with this motif. It is marked '925'. Made in Mexico it is most likely from the Taxco region. Due to the detail on this necklace it would have been difficult to mark but the silversmith managed it nevertheless and affixed a small mark to the clasp.| Size: | Necklace 46 cm, figures are 2.5 cm |
