Schiaparelli ‘Shocking’, introduced 1936, stationary set in presentation box with a miniature ‘Shocking’ perfume bottle,influenced by Salvador Dali and Surrealist artist Leonor Fini, after Mae West’s torso, probably circa 1970's

 

The stationary set with original external cardboard box, the pink presentation case with pale heart decoration with central gold ‘S’, the mauve interior contains corresponding writing paper and envelopes and a miniature tailor dummy perfume bottle, decorated with purple velvet ribbon, with contents

 

The bottles shape, inspired by Salvador Dali’s paintings and the sculptured by Eleonore Fini based on Mae West’s curvaceous torso, and draped in shocking pink was originally made in Czechoslovakia. It was re-launched in 1998
