Art Pottery Vase with Geometric Motifs, C20th
An Art pottery Vase of slender ovoid form, narrowing slightly towards the base and with a short everted rim, the body splash glazed in brown with raised geometric motifs and bead work in green, the base with a blue green glaze and a repeating geometric design again in green incorporating rectangular motifs and bead work, the foot also glazed in a blue green glaze.The style of decoration suggests Art Nouveau designs but there are no obvious parallels. Continental manufacture seems likely, perhaps France or Germany.
