Indian gouache painting depicting a court procession, framed, late C20th

This is an attractive painting of a court procession, the principal figure, presumably a Sultan, seated in a howdah borne by an elephant and accompanied by an attendant, also conveyed by an attendant. A further attendant follows on foot carrying a banner and in front is a group of five ladies, two carrying baskets with floral petals. The style of painting here can be loosely termed ‘Mughal’ but similar works are often ascribed to the artists of Rajasthan in India, which is probably the case here. The composition is lively and the work finely detailed but dating is probably to the late twentieth century, and the frame itself can be firmly placed in the years between 1995 and 2000 since it was only during this time that the outer London dialling code ‘0181’ was used.
