Attractive carved Orange Bakelite Bloom Pendant on modern gold tone chain, British 1930s

The designers of carved bakelite jewellery focused mainly on bangles and brooches so this pendant necklace is less common. The orange bakelite has been carefully carved to resemble a flower, probably peony, is pierced with a hole for hanging and has been fitted here with a modern gold tone chain and ring clasp producing an accessory of simple and timeless elegance.
Size: 3.5cm x 3.5cm, necklace 46cm
Weight: 10.8 gm
Date: 1930s
Condition: Very good condition, no issues. Chain is not original to the pendant.
Estimate: £20 – 30
