Triple strand of amber Bakelite beads, British 1930s

This is an imposing three strand necklace comprised of assembled graduated marble effect butterscotch amber beads joined at the head with a silver clasp. The beads have recently been restrung with wire to make the whole more robust and safer to wear. The three strands interlock perfectly and the selection of beads has been carefully chosen in respect of colouring and size to produce a striking ensemble which is bound to impress.
Size: Longest necklace is 66 cm, shortest is 50 cm, largest bead measures 27mm x 19mm
Weight: 155gm
Date: c1930
Condition: Beads in excellent condition, restrung as above. As this is a constructed necklace some of the beads might also be reconstituted amber. It is difficult to ascertain precisely but all the beads complement each other perfectly.
Estimate: £600 – 800
