Georgian Egyptian Revival silver and enamel brooch c1820

This is a very rare brooch from the Georgian period where Egyptian iconography was inspired by Napolean Bonaparte's military campaigns. This type of Egyptian Revival motif was more stylised than the more accurate later Egyptian designs that were due to the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb in the 1920s. It bears French hallmarks.
Size: 46.7 x 17.4 mm
Weight: 5.5 grams
Date: c1820
Condition: Very good condition, no issues.
Estimate: £100 – 150
