Large allegorical coral cameo brooch c1850

This is a very rare brooch that features high relief plaque carved from angel skin coral. It depict a maiden with a cherubic figure attending her. This scene symbolises love in classical motifs. This is carved from a large piece of pale coral and is mounted in rolled gold. It is unmarked and has safety chain.
