Persian Red Lacquer Box in the form of a Pumpkin, late 19th century

This is a beautiful small lacquer box in the form of a pumpkin with typical lobed sides and a finial at the top, with very fine Persian floral decoration in gold, green, deep pink and blue. The interior and base finished in black.
Size: 10.5 cm x 10 cm
Weight: 90gm
Date: Late 19th century
Condition: Very good condition overall with one small chip to the leaf detail on the lid (see last image). No loss of lacquer or decoration.
