A Japanese Imari Vase with an ovoid body and a slender neck, probably intended as a water dropper and decorated in the typical Imari palette of underglaze blue, iron red and gold with a boldly painted design of stylised flowers and two panels also with stylised flowers, the neck with a band of repeating plantain leaves.
