Lustreware novelty Flower Vase with swans, probably French, mid C20th

A majolica style vase naturalistically modelled with overlapping lotus leaves with two swans to the front standing on a rounded rectangular base, the colourful glazes with a lustre effect. These amusing vases were presumably mould made and the paste of the foot suggests continental manufacture, most likely in France which has a long tradition of pieces made in the ‘majolica’ style of which this is probably a fairly recent example dating to the 1950s or 1960s.
