LOT NUMBER 23
Miniature Harmonica in case, Golden Cup, 1950s/1960s
A miniature four hole harmonica of typical form with a ring at one end, probably intended for attachment to keys, the top and bottom with a raised metal plate with an engraved script mark 'Golden Cup' and an incised design of a trophy cup in a circle, with a matching fitted case. A challenge for most musicians, these miniature harmonicas seem to have been intended as attachments to a key ring. Some examples come in a box marked 'Golden Cup' 'Made in China' so presumably a Chinese origin is true of all of them. Clearly vintage, the style of the inscription suggests 1950s/1960s as the time of manufacture. Truly a novelty item both then and now.PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS FREE UK SHIPPING ON THIS ITEM. For international buyers the shipping cost will be reduced by the UK shipping cost, so don't worry if you are outside the UK, you still receive this benefit!
