Neiger Brothers Egyptian Revival Uranium glass sautoir necklace 1930s
This is a very rare necklace comprising uranium glass beads depicting scarabs, sarcophagi and elephants. Max and Norbert Neiger where brothers living the Gablonz region of Czechoslokia. The are the trailblazers who are responsible for the glass jewellery craze of the 1930s. Their beads and designs have never been replicated and they always stand out.Size: | Necklace is 42 cm, drop is 20 cm and the large scarab is 3 x 2.5 cm |

Condition: | Very good condition, there is a bit of loss of the colour on the reverse side of the large scarab but this is not visible when worn. See images. Has been restrung so is very strong and will go on for many years. |
