Japanese Arita Blue and White Saucer decorated Gourd and Grapes, mid C20th

A Japanese Saucer with a lightly shaped edge decorated in underglaze blue with green and pink highlights, a trefoil gourd like motif set on a ground of radiating feather form bands with grapes and vine leaves, the reverse glazed white and plain but with a two character script mark to the centre of the foot. Dating is probably to the 1950s/1960s but the design here is unusual and has been executed with some care, hence, no doubt, the potter’s mark.
