Kingman copper matrix turquoise large pendant on chain, modern

This is a large pear shaped pendant set with a turquoise stone. The stone is an excellent example of copper matrix turquoise form the Kingman mine in Ariizona. This type of turquoise has been treated and stabilized with copper instead of resin to create this dramatic effect. Kingman turquoise is known for this type. It is paired with a complementary flat belcher chain. Both are marked 925.
