Native american Spencer opal earrings, c1970

This is a very rare pair of earrings that are set with large pear shaped opals from the Spencer mine in Idaho. They are set in a typical Native American setting, most likely Zuni. They are marked Spencer Sterling to indicate the origin of the opals.
Size: Opals are 15 x 8 mm
Weight: 5 grams for both
