Pair of Japanese red lacquered low stands, Taisho period (1912-1926). The stands have a square insert on the stand with bowed supports and plain stretcher base. The upper rims are inset with abalone shell, the inset vase stands are round. With original fitted softwood carrying box with character marks on lid
Size: Stands measure 23 x 25 x 25 cm, box measures 25 x 55 x 27 cm

Condition: Good condition, one with a split top, with two fine splits to the inset, one inset probably restuck, typical very fine wear
