Chinese Celadon glaze Bowl of Conical Form, 20th Century
Celadon Celadon Glaze Bowl of conical form with straight flaring sides above a small moulded foot, the base glazed in light cream within the unglazed foot rim, both glazes with a light crackle effect. Conical form bowls of similar designs were a classic Chinese shape and found in a variety of different wares. Glaze and form here reflect pieces from the Song period (960 to 1279) but the dating is to the early to mid twentieth century.| Size: | Diam 20.5cm Ht 6.8cm |
