TEST ITEM - A Suku Figure
A Rare Suku figure, Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, circa 1880
The enlarged feet supporting the slightly bent legs, the arms on the breasts, the elongated face with open mouth, triangular nose, almond eyes and flared ears, all set under a smooth coiffure, cloth around the waist and legs, remains of white pigments on the face; extremely old and fine encrusted red patina.

Suku figures are rare and it is extremely uncommun to find a 19th century figure with its original patina and face markings.
