A Zulu/Tsonga Cane, Africa, South Africa
The elongated cane finishing by a brass end on one side and a female figure on the other. The figure with straight legs, elongated torso framed by arms with open hands, the enlarged head with eyes inlaid with seeds (?), all under a conical coiffure; light brown patina, traces of european varnish.

These figurative staffs were prestige items reserved for chiefs and royalty, but were also used among young dandies.
