The twisted horn carved with three faceted rings, the opening blocked by a wooden tap, and bearing the inscription "Shot 4th June 1878, Jonis councellor of Mantanzina, E.W. Ewin"; aged patina
This interesting horn was taken during the last frontier war, on the eastern cape between the Xhosa and the British.
