A Fine Nyamwezi (?) Zither, Tanzania
the body of the instrument pierced at the back and at each extremities for attachment of cords, the body issuing an elongated neck supporting a diminutive head with square jaw, incised mouth, rounded eyes and ears, the skull decorated with doted circles; very fine dark brown patina.
