粉彩山水笔筒, 陶署款, 18/19 世纪
of cylindrical shape, the whole body finely painted with a distant landscape depicting a coastal mountainous scene with a thatched house and scrolling clouds emanating from the mountains behind, with six line inscription in clerical script on the side, followed by two seals, the inscription reads as: 'The zigzag goat-horn like mountain track leads you to the greenery mountains where a splendid landscape scenery is then in front of you. The officer of pottery in Mountain Zhu, the Pavilion of Huancui', the seals read as 'Brush and ink' ('Han' and 'Mo'), the base unglazed
During the 18th century, it was Tang Ying who was the officer of pottery in Mountain Zhu, the Pavilion of Huancui. Tang Ying (1682-1756) was the Imperial Factory Superintendent in Jingdezhen at that time.
笔筒直身, 绘有山水, 并有六行隶书题字及两枚小印, 底部无釉, 题识: 一径蜿蜒羊角转, 两山苍翠画屏开, 写于陶署珠山环翠亭
此 “陶署” 款应属唐英, 唐英为18世纪景德镇之督陶官。
