A Chinese famille rose 'hundred deer' hu form vase, Guangxu six-character mark, 20th century
粉彩百鹿尊,光绪六字款,20世纪
with pear-shaped body, the broad neck flanked by a pair of deer head handles in iron-red, grey and black enamels, the body overall decorated in coloured enamels with the 'hundred deer' design, depicting white, brown and orange-red does and stags amongst rocks and trees, with one side depicting a flowing river, the landscape also depicts sprigs of lingzhi fungus and fruiting peach trees both a sign of longevity, the glazed base with Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue

阔口鼓腹,腹上敛,渐下垂,圆足,鹿首为耳,尊身绘有粉彩青绿山石松林,毛色各异的群鹿追逐嬉戏,贯穿其间,底有 “大清光绪年制” 款
