the paper leaf elaborately painted in bright polychrome to one side with an oval cartouche of ladies and gentleman at leisurely pursuits in and before an open pavilion with painted applied ivory faces, within a scrolling and paling border flanked by scrolling roundels and floral sprays, reserved on a pale green ground, the reverse painted with an elaborate flower spray and birds and a butterfly within narrow floral borders reserved on a palest yellow green ground, the sticks lacquered in gold on black to either side with two seated figures before a tree, below coin motifs, the guard sticks decorated with bird and floral sprays and further coin motifs, with ivory silk tassel, the rectangular wooden box with pink silk lined interior and padded lid

纸扇有两面彩绘, 一面浅绿色地, 中间部分有椭圆形开光面, 其中有庭院人物活动歇息场景, 人物面部贴以象牙, 衣着以丝品贴饰; 开光面以花卉卷纹及回纹窗棂围边, 左右两侧更有蝙蝠、花卉及其他纹饰装饰; 另一面为淡黄色地, 整面绘有花鸟蝴蝶图样, 四边以类似风格图样围边。扇骨为十六档漆骨, 两面均有描金铜钱及人物绘饰; 扇骨正面亦绘有花鸟及铜钱纹饰, 底部并有象牙色流苏。此扇另配有红丝织料铺底木盒。
