A set of seven Chinese blue and white cups and saucers in Kangxi style, late 19th century

康熙风格青花茶杯茶碟一套, 19世纪晚期

potted in typical Kangxi style, the cups with a deep profile curving in to the short foot and flaring out at the rim, decorated with alternating panels of ladies, 'long Elizas', and flowers (peony, chrysanthemum, narcissus, prunus), the interior of the cups with a repeating geometric design, the exterior of the saucers with three floral sprays, the bases of both cups and saucers with 'yu' marks within double concentric circles

At the end of the nineteenth century certain Kangxi period blue and white table wares were imitated quite effectively, as here

茶杯器形修长, 沿口微撇, 杯身及茶碟绘饰相同, 开光面绘有仕女, 开光面相间处绘有花卉 (牡丹、菊花、水仙及梅花), 茶杯及茶碟沿口分别有几何纹与花枝, 杯碟底面均有青花双圈 "玉" 字款

19世纪晚期, 一些仿康熙时期的茶具, 仿造力高, 这件拍品就是其中一件。
