珊瑚红釉青花云龙描金小瓶, 嘉庆款, 19世纪

 

of bottle form with a compressed globular body narrowing at the shoulder to a cylindrical neck, the whole body with an even rich coral-red glaze, with a blue and white sinuous five-clawed dragon writhing amidst gilt cloud scrolls, the mouth gilded and with a band of gilt ruyi form lappet on the neck, the base with gilt clashing waves, the foot with gilt key-fret  pattern, with a well-drawn six character Jiaqing mark

 

此瓶施以珊瑚红釉地, 其上有青花五爪蛟龙, 配以描金云纹, 瓶口、腹底及瓶足均有描金纹饰, 底部有青花 “大清嘉庆年制” 篆书款
