A Chinese blue and white baluster vase, Kangxi (1662-1722)
青花瓶, 康熙(1662-1722), 后改制为灯座, 配木座
decorated with three upper and three lower quatrefoil panels of scholar's objects and Buddhist symbols in underglaze blue, set against a blue ground interspersed with prunus, the straight neck with a ruyi lappet border, the base drilled and with lamp fittings for electricity, with sympathetic wood stand painted in cream and blue with scrolling motifs
瓶身以青花蓝料为地, 其上空出六面花形开光面, 其中绘有文房用具及佛教图案, 蓝地上并有线描梅花, 瓶颈颈口有如意纹饰, 瓶底有洞, 为后来改装为灯座之证, 木座上蓝白色漆, 配合此青花瓶风格
