Art Deco bar Brooch with citrine in fitted box, c1920

This is a very elegant bar brooch in silver set with a large citrine stone. It bears an indistinct mark but is most likely French. The box that is included with this lot has the wording on the inside of the lid reading 'Fine Jewels' 'Richard Ogden Ltd' 'Burlington Arcade W1', the address being that of the famous shopping arcade in Piccadilly, London where luxury goods are still sold today. From the way the brooch fits it appears that this is the original box although we cannot guarantee this for certain. Even so, these old boxes are difficult to come by these days so this makes a desirable accessory to the brooch itself.
