Austro-Hungarian turquoise pendant on modern chain, the pendant c1880

This is a very early pendant that is typical of the jewellery of the Austro-Hungarian period. It is set with turquoise of varying colours and a central pearl and is unmarked. It has been matched with a modern figaro link chain which is marked '925' and 'ITALY'.

Size: Main pendant without bail or drops is 26.6mm x 26.2mm; the chain is 50cm
Weight: 15.5 grams
