Bernard Instone (1903 - 1987) enamel bar brooch, c1950

Benard Instone was a very well known jewellery designer and manufacturer from Birmingham. His most recognisable work is this type of whimsical enamel work. It is marked 'STERLING SILVER' so may have been made for export.
