LOT NUMBER 5
Victorian Egyptian Revival Belt Buckle
An incredible gilt brass buckle with round plaques depicting Nefertiti and Tutankhamun in high relief bust profile set within an elaborate border with geometric designs and stylised vase forms. This is earlier than the common 20th century Egyptian Revival pieces made popular by Queen Victoria. A strong elastic belt is attached so the piece is very wearable.Size: | 13.5cm x 7 cm |
