Blue art glass bud vase, Hjorts Glasbruk, Sweden, second half C20th

An art glass vase, probably for the display of a single flower, the slender ovoid blue glass body supported by a ribbed clear glass circular foot. Towards the top is a label reading ‘Swedish Art Glass’ with a monogram ‘GH’ within a stylised crown which points to the Swedish glassmakers ‘Hjorts Glasbruk’, rather less well known than some of their competitors. Dating is most likely to the later years of the twentieth century.
