Amber cylindrical vase with swirling stripes, probably Italian, late C20th

A cylindrical vase of broad proportions, the amber glass with a design of swirling ribbon like stripes with brown highlights. There seem to be few parallels for this piece, the decoration vaguely recalling tiger stripe or pulled feather designs but only extremely distantly. Resemblances to Murano pieces suggest, at least, Italian manufacture, probably dating to the late twentieth century.
