Pair of Navajo Kingman turquiose earrings, signed, 1970s

This pair of earrings boasts 10 large cabachons of Kingman turquoise. The Kingman mine located in Arizona, is the last commercial turquoise mine in the US. It is known for its intense colour and unique matrix. These earring where produced by a Navaho silver maker. They are signed MJ which indicates the specific workshop. Marked Sterling for 925 silver.
