Victorian Whitby Jet mourning necklace with portrait plaque c1900
This is a necklace comrising Whitby Jet round and flat beads with a pendant that is mounted with a central ceramic portrait plaque. The design indicates that it is mourning jewellery as much of the Whitby Jet jwellery is, but due to the type of portrait, it seems to be more decorative.
