This is an Art Deco style desk top ornament of a revolving globe set on a stepped chrome base and topped with a chrome aeroplane in a design which is clearly not of the date of manufacture, which is set out clearly on the globe itself - 'Government of India Copyright 2008', but is fully consistent with pieces made in the 1920s and 1930s.
