Patent Crocodile Handbag, Italian 1970s
This is a truly elegant handbag made from deep brown burgundy crocodile skin, the slim rectangular body with a fold over flap secured by a gilt metal clasp, the reverse with an open pouch pocket, the interior lined with a zip pocket and a stamped mark 'Made in Italy', and the loop handle suspended from gilt metal rings of geometric design, all finished with delicate hand stitching.Please note that the original double strap handle has been recently remodelled to a simple loop as being more practical and consistent with the overall design of the piece.
