Four Art Deco style small Glass Vases with silver overlay decoration, possibly Murano 1930s This is a set of four complementary small coloured glass vases (green, blue, amethyst, turquoise) each with applied silver decoration now slightly tarnished. The clean lines of the shapes, two of baluster form and two with conical bodies suggest the Art Deco era and the decoration, which features gondolas and palaces, suggests Venetian origin and therefore manufacture at the Murano glassworks there. This has to remain slightly speculative and the pieces might be slightly later but the group provides a highly decorative ensemble for collectors or decorators alike.| Size: | Amethyst 11 cm high, blue 13 cm high, green 9.5 cm high, turquoise 8 cm high |
