Victorian pinchbeck rosette Necklace c1900
This is a lovely and delicate necklace comprising stations of small cast rosettes and mille grain work. Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc, mixed in proportions to resemble the appearance of gold. It was invented by Christopher Pinchbeck, a London clock and watchmaker, in the early 18th century.| Size: | Each station measures 18 mm x 12mm, Necklace is 41 cm long |
