Art Deco Bakelite and glass bead Necklace, British 1930s

This is an attractive necklace in which bakelite and glass beads are imaginatively combined. There are large graduated light brown and ovoid bakelite beads separated from dark brown slender oval ones with twist indentation by round amber glass round beads in two sizes, the muted colours and clean lines of the forms very much reflecting the aesthetic of the Art Deco style.

Condition: Very good condition, has been constructed later with bakelite beads etc around 40 years ago.
