Cherry amber Bakelite necklace, Germany 1920s

This is a very beautiful necklace comprising graduated bright and clear facetted cherry amber Bakelite beads, strung with braided and knotted orange thread and with a spring ring clasp. These necklaces are quite rare and the clear red colour here, enriched by the faceting, is one of the most desirable.
Size: 50cm long, largest bead 30mm, smallest bead 8mm
